Musheer Khan is very inspired by his brother Sarfaraz Khan’s dedication and his way of batting.
Indian Premier League 2024: Mumbai’s rising batting star Musheer Khan (Musheer Khan) said that he is not at all disappointed that he could not get a deal for the upcoming IPL 2024 starting from March 22.
Getting an IPL contract is a dream come true for many cricketers, but Musheer Khan is not sad about remaining unsold during the IPL 2024 auction, as he has full confidence in his ability.
My name is not in IPL: Musheer Khan
The batsman, who created a sensation with his batting in Ranji Trophy 2024, said that he can use the time he gets during IPL 2024 to understand the nuances of the T20 format. However, the 19-year-old batsman, who recently won the Ranji Trophy 2024 with Mumbai, is confident that when the time is right, he will get a chance to make his mark in the IPL.
“My name is not in the IPL,” Musheer Khan said in a PTI video. But I am not disappointed by this. My father tells me to play Test cricket and play for Team India. Entry in IPL is bound to happen, if not today then tomorrow. Being unsold in the auction gave me another year to prepare for the IPL. I will understand T20 cricket more and I will understand how I should prepare for this format.”
Musheer Khan is very inspired by his brother
The young batsman further added: “I am very inspired by my brother’s (Sarfaraz Khan) dedication and the way he bats. Our batting style is similar. He told me before the Ranji final to take it as a normal match and not take too much pressure. From outside it may seem like a normal match, but on the field we feel the pressure. He asked me to support my skills and go along with the process.”
