Reece Topley on Virat Kohli in IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team’s fast bowler Reece Topley has given a big statement regarding the batting of former team captain Virat Kohli. Topley says that foreign batsmen need to help Virat in the team’s batting setup, because there is a lot of pressure on him in the run-scoring department.

It is noteworthy that in the ongoing season of IPL, Virat Kohli is the only player in the batting department of RCB who has scored runs continuously. Kohli has scored a total of 316 runs in 5 matches at a strike rate of 146.29, and the Orange Cap is currently held by Kohli.

However, last season team captain Faf du Plessis, who had scored 730 runs in 14 matches, has so far been able to score only 109 runs in five matches. Also, Glenn Maxwell has contributed only 32 runs. Meanwhile, all-rounder player Cameron Green, who was traded from Mumbai Indians, has not been able to show anything special till now.
