The 30th match of IPL 2024 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, broke their own record of highest total (277) and scored 287 runs on the board.

SRH batsmen dominated the Bengaluru team from the beginning till the end. After Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen also played brilliantly, and scored a half-century in just 23 balls. On the fourth ball of the same over, Aiden Markram attacked Ferguson and hit a crushing six towards long-on. Lockie Ferguson then backed himself and showed the way to the pavilion on the last ball of the over to Heinrich Klaasen. Klaasen tried to hit another shot on the full toss ball, but Vijay Kumar Vaishak, posted at backward point, took a brilliant catch.

Heinrich Klaasen played an inning of 67 runs in 31 balls with the help of 2 fours and 7 sixes. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Travis Head played the highest innings of 102 runs for the team with the help of 9 fours and 8 sixes in 41 balls. Abhishek Sharma (34), Aiden Markram (32*) and Abdul Samad (37*) also made important contributions.
