IPL 2024: RCB’s Playoff Qualification Scenario: In the 45th match of IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans by 9 wickets. After this win, RCB is still at 10th position in the points table. So far, the team has won three out of 10 matches, while it has faced defeat in 7.

After the win against Gujarat Titans, Bengaluru has definitely earned two points, but the chances of making it to the playoffs are still slim. However, RCB can still turn things around and make it to the playoffs. Let us tell you how Royal Challengers Bangalore can now reach the playoffs after the victory over Gujarat Titans.

This is how RCB will reach the playoffs

Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently at the bottom of the points table with three wins, seven losses from 10 matches and a net run rate of -0.415. To keep their playoff hopes alive, RCB will have to win all four of their upcoming matches, and defeat the opposing teams by big margins, so that their net run rate can improve.

Royal Challengers Bangalore can reach 14 points by winning all their remaining matches. There is a big possibility that many teams may finish the league stage with 14 points. In such a situation, a good net run rate can increase Bengaluru’s hopes of reaching the playoffs. If RCB is successful in maintaining a better run rate then they can finish fourth in the points table.

Bengaluru’s matches are to be held with these teams in IPL 2024

Royal Challengers Bangalore will next play against Gujarat Titans on May 4 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The team will then face Punjab Kings on May 9 in Mullanpur. After which it will face Delhi Capitals on May 12 and Chennai Super Kings on May 18 at home.
