IPL 2024, RR vs DC: The 9th match of IPL 2024 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Rajasthan Royals put 185 runs on the board at the loss of 5 wickets. Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals managed to score 173 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs and Rajasthan Royals registered a resounding win by 12 runs.

RR vs DC: Riyan Parag played a brilliant innings

Batting first against Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals got a bad start. The team had lost 3 wickets at the score of 36. Yashasvi Jaiswal (5), Sanju Samson (15) and Jos Buttler (11) returned to the pavilion cheaply. After which there was a partnership of 54 runs for the fourth wicket between R Ashwin and Riyan Parag. Ashwin was out against Akshar Patel in the 14th over.

Ashwin played an inning of 29 runs in 19 balls with the help of 3 fours. Riyan Parag played an unbeaten inning of 84 runs in 45 balls with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. Let us tell you that this is the biggest innings of Riyan Parag so far in IPL. Dhruv Jurel (20) and Shimron Hetmyer (14*) made important contributions. Khalil Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, Enrique Norkhia, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took 1-1 wicket for Delhi Capitals.

Tristan Stubbs played an unbeaten inning of 44* runs in 23 balls and Akshar Patel played an unbeaten inning of 15* runs in 13 balls but could not lead the team to victory. For Rajasthan Royals, Nandre Berger and Yuzvendra Chahal took 2-2 wickets, while Avesh Khan took one wicket.
