The 27th match of the ongoing IPL season was played between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals (PBKS vs RR) yesterday on 13 April. Let us tell you that in this exciting match played at Mullanpur Stadium, Chandigarh, Rajasthan has defeated Punjab by 3 wickets at their home.

However, their regular opener Jos Buttler could not play for Rajasthan Royals in this match. At the time of the toss, team captain Sanju Samson had said that Butler would not be able to take part in the match due to not being completely fit. So due to Butler not playing, West Indies T20 captain Rovman Powell got a chance to play.

While chasing 148 runs from Punjab in the match, Powell made a brilliant partnership of 21 runs in 7 balls with Shimron Hetmyer and himself scored 11 runs in 5 balls. So in the end, Rajasthan was successful in winning the match on the basis of Hetmyer’s brilliant innings of 27 runs in 10 balls. On the other hand, after the end of the match between the two teams, Rovman Powell has given a big update regarding the return of Jos Buttler.

Don’t know when Jos Buttler will return to the field

Let us tell you that after the end of the match between Punjab and Rajasthan, during the post match, Rovman Powell said about the return of Jos Buttler – I think the medical team is doing a very good job with him (Jos Buttler). He will recover and come back in a day or two, it is good for us that we have only one match in three or four days.

So, he will be back before this match. I am also a good player, if I am not able to play a match then it means the team is performing well. Whenever I get a chance, I will perform my best.
