IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore ,RCB) Schedule: The schedule of the first phase of IPL 2024 has been announced. BCCI has announced the schedule of matches from March 22 to April 7. The first match of IPL 2024 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. Faf du Plessis has been captaining RCB for the last two seasons after Virat Kohli left the captaincy.

In the first season, Faf du Plessis had taken Bangalore to the playoffs, but this could not happen last season. The last season of Royal Challengers Bangalore was bad. Royal Challengers Bangalore had won only 7 out of 14 matches and were ranked 6th in the points table.

RCB has strengthened both the bowling and batting departments by trading Cameron Green to Mumbai Indians. Rajat Patidar was out of the entire season last year due to injury, but will return in the upcoming season and strengthen the batting department. RCB had released Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel before the auction.
