Sam Curran played an unbeaten inning of 63 runs with the help of five fours and three sixes in 41 balls against Rajasthan Royals.

Today i.e. on 15th May, in an important match of the Indian Premier League 2024, Punjab Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by five wickets. In this match, all the players from Punjab Kings performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Rajasthan Royals players failed to show good performance.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals scored 144 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan did not have such a good start in this match and they lost three important wickets for 42 runs within 8 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to bat well against Punjab and was out after scoring four runs. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev.
