The great match of IPL 2024 is currently being played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Garden, Kolkata. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first. The host bowlers performed very well and Lucknow team could only score 161 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

In reply, Shamar Joseph bowled his first over of the IPL for Lucknow Super Giants and gave 22 runs. This is the debut match of Shamar Joseph. Shamar Joseph bowled very well in the Test match against Australia in Brisbane and played an important role in the victory of the West Indies team. Many people had high expectations from this young fast bowler in IPL 2024 but he had a very poor start in this important tournament.

Shamar Joseph did not concede a single run on his first ball of IPL 2024. After this, on the second ball, Phil Salt opened his team’s account through leg bye. On behalf of Lucknow team, Nicholas Puran batted brilliantly and played a stormy inning of 45 runs. Apart from him, captain KL Rahul contributed 39 runs while young batsman Ayush Badoni scored 29 runs. Nicholas Puran was the highest run scorer for his team in this match.

Mitchell Starc bowled very well for Kolkata and took three wickets for 28 runs in four overs. Apart from them, Vaibhav Arora, Andre Russell, Varun Chakraborty and Sunil Narayan took one wicket each. Kolkata Knight Riders need 162 runs to win this match.
