IPL 2024: Shimron Hetmyer becomes the call for PBKS, RR registers victory in Chandigarh


Shimron Hetmyer played a match-winning inning of 27* runs against Punjab with the help of 1 four and 3 sixes in 10 balls.

Today i.e. on 13th April, in the best match played in Chandigarh, Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings. In this match, all the players from Rajasthan Royals performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Punjab Kings once again failed to show good performance and lost the match.

Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 147 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, young batsman Ashutosh Sharma batted brilliantly and played an important inning of 31 runs in 16 balls with the help of 1 four and 3 sixes. Apart from Ashutosh Sharma, Jitesh Sharma scored 29 runs in 24 balls with the help of 1 four and 2 sixes while Liam Livingston contributed 21 runs. Jonny Bairstow and Atharv Taide scored 15 runs each.

Keshav Maharaj bowled very well for Rajasthan Royals and took two wickets for 23 runs in four overs. Avesh Khan also took two wickets for 34 runs in four overs. Kuldeep Sen, Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal took 1 wicket each.
