The 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is being played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Garden, Kolkata. In this important match, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first.
During the match, Kolkata bowlers demonstrated good bowling and did not give Lucknow batsmen a chance to play freely. KKR fielders also showed great efforts during the innings. Ramandeep Singh and Phil Salt took two brilliant catches each in the match.
However, Lucknow, batting first, scored 161 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Mitchell Starc looked in form today for KKR. He bowled very economically and took three wickets for 28 runs in his four over spell.
