Indian Premier League 2024 has started. The second match of the tournament is currently being played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals. Where Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has returned to the cricket field after almost one and a half years in the match against Punjab. Everyone was desperate to see him in the field.

When Pant entered the field to bat, the audience gave a standing ovation. Everyone stood up and welcomed him and encouraged him. Pant has returned to the cricket field after about 456 days.

Earlier, at the Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh, Punjab won the toss and invited Delhi to bat first.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals team scored 174 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In the end, Abhishek Porel batted brilliantly and scored unbeaten 32 runs in 10 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes.

At the same time, on Friday, March 22, the first match of the Indian Premier League 2024 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, where Chennai Super Kings won the match by 6 wickets.
