Today i.e. on 9th April, in the best match of IPL 2024 played in Chandigarh, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 2 runs. In this match, all the players from Sunrisers Hyderabad performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team. Punjab Kings players failed to show good performance against Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, scored 182 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Let us tell you, the team’s start was not so good and they lost three important wickets within 5 overs. However, for the Hyderabad team, young batsman Nitish Reddy batted very well and played a valuable inning of 64 runs in 37 balls with the help of 4 fours and 5 sixes.

Nitish Reddy hit hard against all the bowlers of Punjab team. Apart from Nitish Reddy, Abdul Samad played a stormy inning of 25 runs with the help of five fours in 12 balls while Travis Head contributed 21 runs. Abhishek Sharma scored 16 runs while Shahbaz Ahmed played a brilliant inning of 14* runs in the end with the help of 1 four and 1 six in 7 balls.

For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh took four wickets for 29 runs in four overs while Harshal Patel and Sam Curran took 2-2 wickets.

Once again Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma won everyone’s hearts with their excellent batting.

Punjab team, which came to chase the target, had a very bad start and lost three important wickets within five overs. Captain Shikhar Dhawan returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs while Jonny Bairstow could not even open his account. Prabhsimran Singh scored four runs. However, Shashank Singh, who batted brilliantly in the last match, batted very well in this match too and played a stormy innings of 46* runs in 25 balls with the help of 6 fours and one six.

Apart from Shashank Singh, Ashutosh Sharma also batted very well and played an explosive inning of 33* runs in 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. However, both these young players failed to lead their team to victory. Sikandar Raza played a valuable inning of 28 runs. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets for 32 runs in four overs.
