Let us tell you, a fan had tweeted on his social media account that Parthiv Patel had given the statement that Mumbai Indians are a strong contender to win this season’s trophy but the team is almost out of the playoffs at this time. The main reason behind this is the removal of Rohit Sharma and appointment of Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team.

Responding to this post, Parthiv Patel said that he has not given any such statement and has appealed to the fans to stop spreading false rumours. Parthiv Patel tweeted, ‘This is wrong, I did not say that at all. Stop spreading false rumors for views and clicks.
