In the 22nd match of IPL 2024, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets. Thanks to the brilliant bowling of Ravindra Jadeja and Tushar Deshpande, CSK restricted KKR to just 137 runs. Gaikwad played an unbeaten inning of 67 runs in 58 balls. He hit 9 fours in his innings. Dhoni returned unbeaten after scoring one run. Vaibhav Arora was successful in taking two wickets from KKR.
