However, Kotian was seen struggling with the bat. He was out after scoring 24 runs in 31 balls. After this, Yashasvi Jaiswal also returned to the pavilion after scoring 39 runs.

After a good start, the team lost wickets at regular intervals in the middle overs, but the target was not so big that the Punjab bowlers could create some pressure. Shimron Hetmyer hit some good shots in the end and led the team to victory. He played an unbeaten inning of 27 runs in 10 balls.
