Marcus Stoinis batted brilliantly for Lucknow and played a match-winning inning of 124* runs with the help of 13 fours and 6 sixes in 63 balls.

In the best match of the Indian Premier League 2024 played today i.e. on 23rd April, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets. In this match, all the players from Lucknow team performed very well and played an important role in the victory of their team.

Let us tell you, Chennai Super Kings, batting first against Lucknow, scored 210 runs losing four wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played an unbeaten inning of 108 runs in 60 balls with the help of 12 fours and three sixes. Rituraj Gaikwad did not spare any bowler of Lucknow Super Giants and hit hard against all of them.

Apart from Rituraj Gaikwad, young batsman Shivam Dubey played an aggressive inning of 66 runs in 27 balls with the help of three fours and 7 sixes. There was also an important partnership of 104 runs between these two for the fourth wicket. Ravindra Jadeja contributed 16 runs while Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored four runs by hitting a four on one ball. Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur and Matt Henry took 1 wicket each for Lucknow Super Giants.

Lucknow team, which came to chase the target, had a very bad start. The team had lost two important wickets within five overs. Quinton de Kock was out without opening the account while KL Rahul scored 16 runs. However, Marcus Stoinis batted brilliantly for Lucknow and played a match-winning inning of 124* runs in 63 balls with the help of 13 fours and 6 sixes. He played an important role in giving a spectacular victory to the Lucknow team.

Apart from Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran contributed 34 runs while Deepak Hooda scored 17* runs. For Chennai, Deepak Chahar and Mustafizur Rahman took one wicket each while Matheesha Pathirana took two wickets.
