Today i.e. on 24th April, in the best match of IPL 2024 played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Delhi Capitals defeated Gujarat Titans by 4 runs. At home, all the players from the Delhi team performed very well and played an important role in their team’s victory.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 224 runs losing four wickets in 20 overs against Gujarat Titans. The team did not have such a good start in this match and they lost three important wickets for 44 runs within 6 overs. However, Delhi team captain Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel made an important partnership of 113 runs for the fourth wicket. Akshar Patel scored 66 runs for Delhi in 43 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.

Talking about Rishabh Pant, he played an unbeaten match-winning inning of 88* runs in 43 balls with the help of five fours and 8 sixes. Both of them did not spare any bowler of Gujarat Titans and hit hard against everyone. Tristan Stubbs played an explosive inning of 26* runs with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes in 7 balls while Jake Fraser-McGurk contributed 23 runs. Prithvi Shaw was out on a personal score of 11 runs.

For Gujarat Titans, Sandeep Warrier took 3 wickets for 15 runs in three overs while Noor Ahmed took one wicket for 36 runs in three overs.
