The 36th match of IPL 2024 is being played today on April 21 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore (KKR vs RCB) at Eden Gardens. Batting first in the match, KKR has set a strong target of 223 runs for RCB to win.
While chasing this target, Rajat Patidar batted brilliantly for RCB and scored a stormy half-century. So, on this brilliant innings of Patidar, fans are seen giving tremendous reactions on social media. Patidar completed his half-century in 21 balls in the match. So during this innings, Patidar hit 3 fours and 5 skyscraper sixes.
RCB needs to score 223 runs to win
Talking about the first innings of the match, RCB won the toss and decided to bowl first. After this, KKR, batting first, scored 222 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
For KKR, Phil Salt played a stormy inning of 48 runs in 14 balls, while Shreyas Iyer contributed 50 and Andre Russell contributed 27 runs. Apart from this, in the end Ramandeep played a brilliant inning of 24 runs in 9 balls, due to which Kolkata was successful in setting a strong target in front of RCB.
On the other hand, if we talk about RCB’s bowling, all the bowlers except Karn Sharma and Cameron Green proved to be very expensive. Talking about wickets, Yash Dayal and Cameron Green got two wickets each. Apart from this, Mohammad Siraj and Lockie Ferguson got one wicket each.
