Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a bitter rival. Whenever there is a match between these two teams, the fans wait eagerly. Both are the most successful teams of IPL and have won five titles each. Both the teams have faced each other 36 times in the tournament. In which Mumbai has won 21 matches.

These two teams have been placed in different groups in IPL 2024 and will be seen playing against each other only once. This big match is going to be held on 14th April at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Let us tell you that as per the format, each team plays eight matches – against the four teams of its group, both home and away. Additionally, teams play four home and away matches against teams from the other group, with one team facing the rest of the team twice, both home and away.

CSK dominates in the opening matches of IPL, MI’s struggle continues

CSK started their campaign with an impressive six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2024 opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, March 22. They will face each other once in the ongoing tournament. CSK, under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad, will next face Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, March 26.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, suffered a close six-run defeat against the Shubman Gill-led side at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 24. With this defeat, Mumbai’s losing streak continues in the opening match. He will play his match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 27 March.
