Foreign players will be banned for 2 years
All the franchises and fans will definitely be very happy with this new rule of BCCI. Over the years, there have been a number of players who have refused to play before the start of the season, citing workload management.
Now according to the new rules, if a franchise selects a player in the auction and then that player refuses to play before the start of the season, then that player will be banned from playing in the IPL for 2 years. Along with this, the player will not be able to give his name for the auction.
