IPL 2025: Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued new rules to retain players in IPL. According to the new rules, teams will be able to retain a maximum of 6 players in the team.

In the new rule, BCCI has divided the retained players into three slabs. In which teams can retain two players for Rs 18 crore each, some players for Rs 14 crore and one player for a maximum amount of Rs 11 crore.

However, now a big statement has come out from former Australian cricketer and former head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad team Tom Moody regarding these new slabs. Regarding the retention of players in the Mumbai team, he has said whether Hardik Pandya is worth the retention of Rs 18 crore in the Mumbai team.
