The ongoing five-match Test series between India and England ended with the fifth Test match held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. In the 5th Test match, the Indian team defeated England by an innings and 64 runs, winning the Test series 4-1.

So, this is a big defeat for the England cricket team which plays aggressive ‘baseball’ brand of cricket in India. After winning the first Test match of the series in Hyderabad, England looked lagging behind India throughout the series.

Also, after the defeat against India, England Test team captain Ben Stokes says that his team has lost to a better team. Meanwhile, a big statement has come from the head coach of the Indian cricket team and former cricketer Rahul Dravid. Dravid says that it is a privilege for me to work with this team.

Rahul Dravid gave a big statement after India’s victory

Let us tell you that after winning the Test series against England, Rahul Dravid quoted ESPN Cricinfo as saying – To be honest, I am proud of winning the series. It was a bit disappointing after falling behind in the first Test match in Hyderabad. But the credit for this victory goes to all those players who made a brilliant comeback. We did not lose confidence after losing the first match because we had the skill and talent to compete.

Dravid further said- It was nice to see a new team. It is a privilege to work with this team. It is not just about me, but we have got a very good group of professionals during this series. We are learning from him all the time, it has been great working with Rohit Sharma. I think he’s a great leader. New players are attracted to him, which is great to see.
