The Indian cricket team is currently playing a three-match ODI series on the Sri Lanka tour. Meanwhile, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has given a great news to the players. Actually, the Board of Control for Cricket in India was working on the construction of a new National Cricket Academy (NCA) for a long time.
According to the latest update, now the new NCA is going to be ready soon, expressing happiness over which BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has shared pictures on social media.

The new National Cricket Academy has three world class sports grounds, indoor cricket pitches including 45 practice pitches. The new NCA also has training recovery, sports science facilities as well as an olling size swimming pool, which will help in the rehab of cricketers and also help the players prepare before the important cricket season. Jai Shah also said that the new NCA will help the players a lot in developing their skills.
Sharing the pictures of the new NCA on social media, Jai Shah wrote,

The new NCA will have three world class sports grounds, 45 practice pitches, indoor cricket pitches, an Olympic size swimming pool and state of the art training recovery and sports science facilities. This initiative will help our country’s current and future cricketers develop their skills in the best possible environment.

Former Indian player VVS Laxman is currently the head of NCA and his term is going to end soon. VVS Laxman has already expressed his desire not to continue in the post due to personal and family reasons. BCCI is currently looking for a new NCA head.
