Jonty Rhodes has given his stand on his official social media account that he has not signed any deal with Sri Lanka Cricket.
Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes has refused to join Sri Lanka cricket. Let us tell you, recently the Sri Lanka Cricket Board had said in its official statement that they are including Jonty Rhodes in the coaching staff of the Sri Lankan team.
An SLC release said Rhodes had been appointed coach along with former India bowling coach Bharat Arun and former Sri Lanka national team physiotherapist Alex Konturi. The board had also said that they have taken this important step so that the Sri Lankan team’s game can improve further.
Sri Lanka Cricket said in its release, ‘With the help of local coaches, trainers and physiotherapists, we are trying to give place to many very talented players in the senior team. There are many players in Sri Lanka who have performed very well in domestic cricket.
Changes will also be seen in the coaching staff of the senior team. For this, the executive committee has also decided to appoint specialist fielding coach, former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes, former fast bowling coach of the Indian national team, Bharat Arun and former physiotherapist of the Sri Lanka national team, Alex Konturi.

Till now, Bharat Arun has also not given his side regarding whether he has received any such offer from Sri Lanka Cricket or not. At present, a lot of changes are being seen in Sri Lankan cricket. Sri Lanka recently defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 in the three-match T20 series at home.
