IPL 2024 will start from March 22 with the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royals Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Capitals will start their IPL (IPL 2024) season against Punjab Kings on March 23. This time the Delhi Capitals (DC) team will take the field with its old captain Rishabh Pant.
Fans were also eagerly waiting for the return of Rishabh Pant. At the same time, Delhi players were equally impatient for the return of their captain. In such a situation, Axar Patel has shared some things regarding the preparations of Delhi Capitals for IPL 2024 and the absence of Rishabh Pant in the team.
Let us tell you that last season DC was in 9th place among the top 10 teams and they had won only 5 out of 14 matches. In such a situation, Delhi’s planning for this season is something different. Akshar Patel said that “all things will be simple”. This is Delhi’s basic mantra for IPL 2024 and they are trying their best to bounce back this season.
Akshar Patel said about the preparations for IPL 2024-
“Everyone is performing well in their respective domestic and international competitions. There is a very good atmosphere in the team. We have had good intensive training sessions in Vizag before our opening game. It’s a new season, we’re starting fresh. Mainly there have been talks with the coaches and the plan has been made that the most important thing for us will be how to keep things simple in the tournament.”

Talking about Pant’s return to professional cricket, Axar said, “I am sure everyone would have said that it is great to have him back in the team, but personally, I missed him a lot, off the field. Missed our banter both inside and out. But, now that it is back, serious conversations as well as jokes have started around the game. I’m looking forward to having more fun with him this season.”
