The first season of the Kerala Cricket League was inaugurated today on 31 August, Saturday in the presence of Malayalam superstar actor Mohanlal, who is also the brand ambassador of this league. Let us tell you that this program was seen today at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kerala Sports Minister V Abdurahiman was also present on this occasion. Apart from this, Kerala Cricket Association President Jayesh George, Secretary Vinod S Kumar and Chairman Nazar Machan were also present in the inaugural ceremony.

It is worth noting that the first season of Kerala Cricket League is starting from 2nd September. The final match of the tournament will be played on 18th September at Greenfield International Cricket Stadium. A total of 33 matches will be played for the title battle between the 6 teams participating in the tournament.

Talking about the names of these teams, they are Trivandrum Royals, Kochi Blue Tigers, Thrissur Titans, Calicut Globstars, Kollam Sailors and Alleppey Ripples.

According to Manorama Media, the first match will be played between Alleppey Ripples and Thrissur Titans on 2 September. Apart from this, the second match will be played between Trivandrum Royals and Kochi Blue Tigers. The league stage of the tournament will end on 16 September. Also, the semi-final of the tournament will be played on 17 September and the final match will be played on 18 September.

Sanju Samson will not play in the first season

Also, for your information, let us tell you that Indian wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson, who is among the icon players of the tournament, is not a part of the first season of the tournament. Apart from this, no fee will be charged from the fans to watch the matches in the stadium during the first season of Kerala Cricket League. Cricket fans will be able to enjoy these matches in the stadium absolutely free.
