Pakistan team has started preparations for T20 World Cup 2024. These days the players of the team are doing fitness training in the army camp. Before the World Cup, the Pakistan team has to play a five-match T20I series against New Zealand and for this the New Zealand Cricket Board has announced its squad. Michael Bracewell will captain the New Zealand team in this five-match series.

This will be the first time that Bracewell will lead the Kiwi team. At the same time, due to IPL 2024, the names of some star players like Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra are not included in the Kiwi team. Let us tell you that Bracewell was continuously troubled by injury since March last year and now he will return to the field through this series. Tim Robinson and Will O’Rourke have got a place in the T-20 team for the first time.

After selecting the team, Cricket New Zealand selector Sam Wells said that Bracewell was away from cricket for a long time and so I am excited to see his return. Wells also said that Bracewell has captained Wellington, New Zealand A and New Zealand XI and his leadership experience will be useful for him in this series as well.

Let us tell you that, Trent Boult, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner and Kane Williamson have not been able to be a part of this series due to IPL.
