KKR vs LSG Turning Point of match: The 28th match of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) restricted Lucknow Super Giants to 161 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs due to the brilliant performance of the bowlers led by fast bowler Mitchell Starc. For Lucknow, Nicholas Puran scored the highest 45 runs in 32 balls with the help of two fours and four fours, while captain KL Rahul scored an inning of 39 runs in 27 balls. KKR was set a target of 162 runs to win.

Chasing the target, KKR defeated Lucknow by eight wickets with the help of opener Phil Salt’s unbeaten half-century. With the help of Salt’s unbeaten inning of 89 runs off 47 balls with the help of 14 fours and three sixes, they won the match by scoring 162 runs for two wickets in 15.4 overs. For KKR, captain Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 38 runs in 38 balls, while for Lucknow, fast bowler Mohsin Khan took both the wickets.
