Talking about the first innings of this match, once again Sunil Narine and Phil Salt gave a stormy start to Kolkata. Together they added 138 runs for the first wicket in 10.2 overs. Sunil Narine played a fast innings in this match and scored 71 runs in 32 balls. During his innings, Narine hit 9 fours and 4 sixes, and his strike rate was 221.88.
Whereas Phil Salt also scored 75 runs in 37 balls at a strike rate of more than 202. During this, he hit six fours and the same number of sixes. After the dismissal of these two batsmen, Venkatesh Iyer (39 runs), Andre Russell (24 runs) and Shreyas Iyer (28 runs) came to bat. Everyone played fast innings and took the team to a big score.
Talking about bowling, all the bowlers of Punjab Kings proved to be expensive. Sam Curran took one wicket for 60 runs in four overs. Arshdeep took two wickets for 45 runs. Whereas Rahul Chahar and Harshal Patel took one wicket each. Now it will be interesting to see whether the Punjab Kings team is able to achieve this target or not.
