He achieved this feat on the third day of the first test match against Bangladesh. In the second innings of the match being played in Chennai, Rahul scored an unbeaten 22 runs in 19 balls. In the first innings, he scored 16 runs in 52 balls.
KL Rahul, who was dismissed cheaply in the first innings, looked in good rhythm in the second innings but skipper Rohit Sharma declared the second innings at 287/4 and set the visitors a target of 515 runs to win.
India’s experienced batsman KL Rahul made his Test debut against Australia in 2014, after which he scored 2885 runs in 50 Test matches and 86 innings. In ODIs, he has scored 2851 runs in 72 innings of 77 matches at a strike rate of 87.56. In T20 Internationals, the 32-year-old player scored 2265 runs in 72 matches. India set a target of 515 runs for Bangladesh to win
On the third day of the first test match being played against Bangladesh, India declared its second innings at 287 runs for four wickets. With this, India set a target of 515 runs for Bangladesh to win. In reply, Bangladesh has scored 158 runs for four wickets in the second innings. However, Bangladesh is still 357 runs behind the target while India now needs six wickets to win.
India had scored 376 runs in their first innings, in response to which Bangladesh’s first innings collapsed at 149 runs. With a lead of 227 runs in the first innings, India scored 287 runs in their second innings to take a lead of 514 runs and gave the visiting team a strong target of 515 runs to win.
