He became the victim of Josh Hazlewood in the 17th over of the innings. Hazlewood had bowled a little back of length, Virat did not want to play the ball but due to extra bounce the ball hit the bat and Usman Khawaja took an easy catch in the slips. Hazlewood dismissed Virat for the 10th time in international cricket and the fourth time in Test cricket. Earlier, Kohli had not been able to show anything special in the Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand.
