Currently, a five-match T20 series is being played between Pakistan and New Zealand. Four matches have been played so far in this T20 series in which New Zealand is leading 2-1. The fifth and final T20 match between these two teams will be played on April 27 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

However, Lahore Police has further strengthened the security for the matches between Pakistan and New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium. Lahore Police also wants that both the teams should not face any problem in the match to be held at Gaddafi Stadium and that is why they have made strict arrangements regarding security. Let us tell you, the first three T20 matches between these two teams were played in Rawalpindi. The last 2 matches were scheduled in Lahore.

The fourth T20 match was played on 25 April in Lahore in which New Zealand defeated Pakistan by four runs. New Zealand’s brilliant players performed brilliantly in this match and played an important role in their team’s victory. More than 14 SPs, 37 SDPOs, 71 SHOs and 448 Subordinates and more than 5500 police officers have been deployed for the security of players, support staff, officials and fans in these two T20s.

Lahore Police Officer Bilal Siddiqui Kamyana said that the police here is implementing a comprehensive security plan for the T20 series matches being played between Pakistan and New Zealand. This T20 World Cup is being done in preparation for the 2024 World Cup.

Security forces increased for the T20 series being played between Pakistan and New Zealand

Bilal Siddiqui Kamyana has directed the concerned officials to maintain constant touch with the Pakistan Sports Board, district administration and security agencies regarding the security plan for the cricket stadium, players’ hotels and the route. He has said that all the fans who come to the stadium to watch the match will be checked and the women will be checked by the Mahila Police Force.

He has also said that whatever route the two teams will take to the stadium will also be monitored. Senior police officers are very serious about the security of these two teams.
