Cricket South Africa (CSA) has organized the Cricket Awards 2024 on 5 September. Let us tell you that in this Cricket Awards, South Africa women’s cricket team captain Laura Wolvaardt has been successful in winning the most awards. The cricketer has won awards in various categories.

It is worth noting that 25-year-old Laura was the highest run-scorer for South Africa in the 2023-24 season. Laura also scored a century in the only Test against India in Chennai. She won awards like Women’s Player of the Year, Women’s T20 Player of the Year, ODI Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and Fans Player of the Year.

Apart from this, in the men’s category, the team’s all-rounder player Marco Jansen has been successful in winning the Men’s Player of the Year Award. Marco played an important role in taking South Africa to the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup 2023. He took a total of 17 wickets in that tournament.

While wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock has been successful in winning the ODI Player of the Year. De Kock scored 594 runs for the Proteas team in the World Cup 2023, which is the most by any South African in a World Cup.

Apart from this, Reeza Hendricks has been successful in winning the T20 Player of the Year award and Keshav Maharaj has been successful in winning the Players Player of the Year award. Apart from this, David Bedingham has been successful in winning the International Newcomer of the Year award in the men’s category and Eliz-Mari has been successful in winning the International Newcomer of the Year award in the women’s category.

Marizanne Kapp won the Best Ball of the Season award

On the other hand, South Africa’s women’s cricket team’s veteran all-rounder Marizanne Kapp has been successful in winning the Best Ball of the Season award. She was successful in winning this award because of the way she dismissed Beth Mooney with a swinging ball in the first match of the recent ODI series against Australia.
