For England cricket team’s veteran all-rounder Liam Livingstone, the last one and a half years in cricket have not been very special. Let us tell you that for some time now, he has been continuously facing knee problems.
So after seeing its seriousness, Liam had decided to leave IPL 2024 midway. However, recently he was seen playing for England in the four-match T20 series against Pakistan. After this, he is all set to play for the English team in the T20 World Cup. Also, now he is able to enjoy his game, for which he has given a big statement.
Liam Livingstone made a big statement
Let us tell you that after the conclusion of the T20 series against Pakistan, Liam Livingstone was quoted by ESPN Cricinfo as saying – After a small knee problem, the last 18 months in cricket have not been enjoyable. Injury kills your passion, kills your spirit and ultimately kills cricket.
Livingstone further said- I was in a very bad condition at the end of the IPL, due to which I did not participate in the entire tournament. It seems that this time the injection has worked, and being able to play cricket pain-free for the first time in two years is an exciting aspect for me. I think I have a smile on my face again and I am enjoying playing cricket.
