In this T20 series, the young players of the Indian team performed brilliantly under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav and won it. However, the team failed to win the ODI series played against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka won the three-match ODI series played at home by 2-0. Earlier in the Indian Premier League 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders under the mentorship of Gautam Gambhir won the trophy of this important tournament.

Team India now has to play the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur which is starting from 27 September. Not only this, the team still has to play a five-match Test series against Australia in the month of November and Team India will definitely want to win the Champions Trophy 2025.
