Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced today i.e. on 5th July that the winning Indian team of T20 World Cup 2024 will get a prize of Rs 11 crore. This announcement was made in the Central Hall of Vidhan Bhavan where four Mumbai players captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey were also honored.

During his statement, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also said that the Indian team had defeated Pakistan in the World Cup and he also praised Suryakumar Yadav’s catch against South Africa in the final match. Not only this, Eknath Shinde also felicitated support staff Arun Kanade and Paras Mhambre.

Not only this, Suryakumar Yadav also agreed that the catch fell in his hands and he is very happy that he played an important role in his team’s victory. Meanwhile, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma said that it was good that the catch fell in Suryakumar Yadav’s hands or else he would have been out of the team in the next match.
