‘There is no place in your team’ Pakistani fans trolling Babar Azam during the second T20 match against Australia

Azam has scored 666 runs in 21 T20I matches played in the year 2024. Babar Azam (Image Credit- Twitter X) In the second T20 match against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground, some Pakistani fans were seen trolling experienced batsman Babar Azam fiercely. The video trolling Azam is going viral very fast on social media. It is noteworthy that in the 21 T20 International matches played in the year 2024, the 30-year-old player has scored a total of 666 runs at a strike rate of 132.66. Under the captaincy of Babar, Pakistan had to be eliminated from the league stage in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. So now cricket fans have been seen venting their anger on Babar. In the second T20 match against Australia, some fans sitting in the stands were seen trolling Babar fiercely and saying, ‘You don’t get a place in the T20 team.’ Watch this video viral on social media Pakistan fans disrespecting Babar Azam in Sydney. “Teri jagah nahin banti mein T20 team” 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 This is not acceptable at all. He’s our former captain and he’s our pride. Sharam everyone. Stay strong, @babarazam258 — Farid Khan (@_FaridKhan) November 17, 2024 Also, let us tell you that former captain Babar Azam was also dropped from Pakistan’s Test team earlier this year. After a poor performance in the first Test match against England, the team management decided to drop Babar. In place of Babar, Kamran Ghulam was included in the team, who confirmed his place in the Test team by scoring a century in his debut match. This is not a good sign for Babar Azam in red ball cricket. On the other hand, apart from Test, Babar’s bat is not working in T20 also. Babar has been able to score only 6 runs in the two T20 matches played against Australia. So in the ODI series that ended before the T20 series, Babar’s performance was 37, 15* and 28* runs. Apart from this, Babar has also not been included in the Pakistani team for the upcoming white series against Zimbabwe. Now that the Champions Trophy 2025 is very close, and Babar not being able to perform for the Pakistani team in the white ball format, it may become a headache for the PCB in the future.

Shreyas Iyer to captain Mumbai in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT): Reports

Tournament is starting from 23rd November Shreyas Iyer (Pic Source-X) Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has reportedly appointed Shreyas Iyer as the captain for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), while Prithvi Shaw has also got a place in the squad. The senior selection committee, which will start from November 23, took this decision on Sunday. So, if Indian Express reports regarding this decision are to be believed, then the appointment of giving the responsibility of captaincy to Iyer has been done because of his impressive track record in the shortest format. It is noteworthy that in IPL 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the title for the third time under the captaincy of Iyer. If this happens, then Mumbai Ranji team captain Ajinkya Rahane can be seen playing under the captaincy of Iyer. On the other hand, opener Prithvi Shaw has also returned in the tournament starting from November 23, who was not included in Mumbai’s Ranji team due to fitness reasons. So due to injuries in this team, some star players have not got a place. This season, Shivam Dubey, Musheer Khan and fast bowler Tushar Deshpande will not be able to play in SMAT from Mumbai due to injury. But despite all this, there is a lot of depth in batting and bowling in the Mumbai team selected for the tournament. The team has experienced players like Shams Mulani and Shardul Thakur, who provide balance to the team in both areas. Full squad of Mumbai team for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2024-25 Prithvi Shaw, Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Jai Bista, Shriraj Gharat, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Suryansh Shedge, Ishan Moolchandani, Siddhesh Lad, Hardik Tamore (wk), Akash Anand (wk), Sairaj Patil, Akash Parkar, Shams Mullani. , Himanshu Singh, Sagar Chhabria, Shardul Thakur, Mohit Awasthi, Sylvester D’Souza, Royston Dias, Yogesh Patil, Harsh Tanna, Irfan Umair, Vinayak Bhoir, Kritik Hanagwadi, Shashank Attard, Junaid Khan.
