Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan will probably never forget the day of 28 February 2024. In fact, on the same day, Ishaan was removed from the central contract by BCCI. During this time I have learned that you do not have to put pressure on yourself about things which are not in your control. You have to figure out what is (your) controllable and what is out of (your) control. There have been such changes in me that even if I am not performing, if I know someone else is not performing, I will go up to them and talk to them, I want to know what they are thinking. So those are the things that have helped me with the break.”
