Karnataka captain Mayank Agarwal was taken to a local hospital in Agartala after his health deteriorated ahead of his flight to Delhi. According to his manager, the cricketer had drank water from a bag, which was placed in front of his seat, before the incident. Soon after, the 32-year-old complained of stomach pain and a burning sensation in the mouth and throat and also vomited on the flight before being taken to hospital.
He was then admitted to the ICU of ILS Hospital and soon after, it was reported that the cricketer’s condition is stable but will remain in the hospital for further check-ups. Meanwhile, his manager has said that when he was boarding the plane, a pouch was placed in front of him. He drank a little of it but suddenly his mouth started burning and he could not speak and was brought to ILS Hospital. There was swelling and ulcers in his mouth. His condition is stable.

Kiran was quoted as saying by India Today, “International cricket player Mayank Agarwal His condition is now stable and his condition is normal. But his manager has filed a special complaint under NCCPS (New Capital Complex Police Station) to investigate the matter.”
Kiran further said, “His manager told that when he was sitting in the airplane, there was a bag in front of him.
