Suryakumar Yadav’s shine extinguished on the very second ball

Mumbai Indians made a very good start to the innings. In the powerplay, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan made a partnership of 63 runs without losing any wicket. But then Rituraj Gaikwad took out a unique arrow from his quiver. Gaikwad handed the ball to Mathisha Pathirana, who was playing as an impact player. He gave a big blow to the team by dismissing Ishan Kishan on the score of 70 runs. Ishaan returned after scoring 23 runs with the help of three fours and a six.

After the dismissal of Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav reached the crease. Surya had scored a quick half-century in the last match due to which he could prove to be very dangerous for Chennai. But Pathirana, who was bowling his first over, gave the second blow to Mumbai on the third ball. He got Suryakumar Yadav, who came to bat at number three, caught by Mustafizur Rahman. He returned to the pavilion without opening the account. Rahman standing at the boundary took a brilliant catch. At one point it seemed that the catch would be missed, but his fielding has to be praised.
