Five-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians has succeeded in making a unique record in its name in the ongoing season of IPL 2024. Let us tell you that on Sunday, April 7, the 20th match of the 17th season of IPL was played between Mumbai and Delhi at Wankhede Stadium.

In this match, the players of Mumbai team have scored the highest score in IPL history without scoring any half-century. In the match, Mumbai scored 234 runs against Delhi at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. But no Mumbai batsman has been able to score a half-century in the match despite getting a good start.

For Mumbai, former captain Rohit Sharma played brilliant unbeaten innings of 49 runs, wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan 42 runs, captain Hardik Pandya 39 runs, Tim David 45* and Romario Shepherd 39* runs. But no batsman from Mumbai has been able to score a half-century in the match.

Mumbai defeated Delhi by 29 runs and registered its first win in IPL 2024.

On the other hand, if we give you information about the match, Mumbai, batting first, had set a strong target of 235 runs for Delhi Capitals to win. So when Rishabh and company set out to chase this target, they could score only 205 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs and Delhi Capitals had to face defeat by 29 runs in the match.

So this is Mumbai’s first win after a hat-trick of defeats in the four matches played in the ongoing tournament. After this victory, Hardik and company would like to get back on the winning track.
