Due to Romario Shepherd’s unbeaten stormy innings of 39 runs, Mumbai had given Delhi a target of 235 runs to win. The credit for taking Mumbai to this big score also goes to Tim David, who played an inning of 45 runs in 21 balls with the help of two fours and four sixes.

In reply, despite Tristan Stubbs’ unbeaten inning of 71 runs, Delhi could score only 205 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, and Mumbai registered a resounding victory by 29 runs. Shepherd faced 10 balls in which he scored unbeaten 39 runs with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 390. While bowling, Romario Shepherd also took one wicket for 54 runs in 4 overs.

My hard work paid off, I have worked hard in the nets. I think you have to keep a clear mind while batting in the end. He (Tim David) said, no, you stay there and hit.
