When Rashid Khan was bowling the 16th over of the innings, he went for a switch hit on the very first ball of Rashid Khan but failed.
The MLC 2024 tournament is going on and a match was played between Washington Freedom (WSF) and MI New York (MINY) on 16 July. A clip of this match is becoming quite viral in which Glenn Maxwell of Washington Freedom fell prey to Rashid Khan while trying to hit a switch hit shot and got out while trying to hit a style.
In fact, when Rashid was bowling the 16th over of the innings, he went for a switch hit on the very first ball of Rashid Khan but failed. After that, Rashid Khan threw a flat ball and foiled his switch hit attempt again and blew his stumps.

Washington Freedom (WSF) displayed brilliant batting and scored a mammoth total of 182/5 in 20 overs. Travis Head had his traditional fast start and scored 54 runs in 33 balls with the help of nine fours and two sixes. Andries Gaus of the United States supported him well by scoring 59 runs in 48 balls. Earlier, Rachin Ravindra scored 31 runs in 14 balls to take WSF past the 180-run mark.
As for Rashid, he finished with slightly expensive figures of 2/39 from four overs but took his wicket tally to six from four matches in the tournament at an impressive average of 15. Meanwhile, Maxwell has been in disappointing form for WSF this season, averaging just 12.50 and striking at 100 from five matches.
In response, MI New York’s team, which came out to chase the target, collapsed after scoring just 88 runs. Rimario Shepherd scored the highest 25 runs for the team and all the other batsmen could not even cross the 10 mark. At the same time, Jasdeep Singh took the maximum of 3 wickets.
