Speaking on his performance after the match, Maxwell said, “We are lucky in terms of the conditions and Saurabh taking wickets in the top order. It was good to get some help from the wicket. There was a little bit of turn, a little bit of inconsistency. It was a good day and it was good to go on top. I absolutely love not batting; it’s great to give my body some rest. Smudge (Steve Smith) is doing a great job as a leader and opener. It’s very lucky to have him with us.”
