Ranji Trophy 2024, Final, MUM vs VID Dream 11 Prediction: The final match of Ranji Trophy 2024 will be played between Mumbai and Vidrabha from March 10. Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Tamil Nadu had made it to the semi-finals of the tournament. Vidarbha defeated Madhya Pradesh by 62 runs to secure a place in the final. Vidarbha team was all out for 170 runs in the first innings. Madhya Pradesh was all out for 252 runs in the first innings due to 3 wicket hauls by Yash Thakur and Umesh Yadav.

Vidarbha made a brilliant comeback in the second innings and put 402 runs on the board. Yash Rathore faced 200 balls and played an inning of 141 runs with the help of 18 fours and 2 sixes. Madhya Pradesh had a target of 321 runs to win, but the team was all out for 258 runs. Yash Thakur and Akshay Wakhare took maximum 3-3 wickets for Vidrabh.

The Mumbai team defeated Tamil Nadu by an innings and 70 runs to reach the Ranji Trophy final for the 41st time. Tamil Nadu team was all out for 146 runs in the first innings. Mumbai scored 378 runs in the first innings, Shardul Thakur played a century inning of 109 runs for the team. Tamil Nadu team was all out for 162 runs in the second innings, Shams Mulani took maximum 4 wickets for Mumbai.

After the retention list of each franchise was released on October 31, Punjab Kings retained only two players in the form of Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh. With this, PBKS became the team with the highest purse amount to enter the mega auction and they have Rs 110.5 crore in their purse. As the Punjab-based franchise gets a chance to bid for their favorite player, their former player Krishnappa Gautam has expressed concern over the team culture. Gautam was a part of PBKS in the 2020 season, that season they bought Gautam for Rs 6.20 crore. The Karnataka batsman, who spent only one season with the team, has now revealed that he never wants to play for Punjab Kings. Krishnappa Gautam gave a big statement regarding Punjab Kings franchise While talking to Cricket.com, Gautam said, “I am just very honest. Because, I never had a good experience with them. There are other things, not just about cricket. There are other things too. As a cricketer I don’t want to be treated like this. I think there’s more. It’s what I wear on my sleeve when I play for a team. It always happens that I give 100 per cent and more than 100 per cent on the field. I never hold anything back, but I won’t do that either. If Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) select me, I will not give them more than 100 percent. Punjab Kings has released the entire team with the aim of making the team a strong team again. He has also appointed former Australia captain and Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting as his new head coach. Notably, PBKS has not won any IPL trophy so far and has reached the final of the tournament only once, in 2014.

The eyes of cricket fans around the world are going to be focused on the auction. For the first time since 2018, RTM (Right to Match) cards will be used in the IPL auction. However, this time some changes have also been made regarding this. Some franchises are happy with the rule coming back, while some franchises are against it. As per the IPL 2025 retention rules, each franchise was allowed to retain 6 players, which included a maximum of two capped, and two uncapped players. Franchises that have retained less than 6 players will have the option to use the same number of RTM cards. Through this article, let us tell you what is RTM card? How many RTMs are left with all the franchises? And how will it be used? What is RTM (Right to Match) card? By using the RTM card, every franchise can re-induct its old player into the team. Some changes have been made in it. If the franchise wants to use RTM for its player, the remaining franchises will have another chance to put forward the bid. The team using RTM must match the increased bid. Which team can use RTM cards the most in IPL 2025 mega auction? Punjab Kings (PBKS) can use four RTM cards during the mega auction. The franchise won 18 and lost 24 out of 42 matches played in the last three seasons, due to which the management decided to completely overhaul the team and retained only two players – Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh – ahead of the auction. IPL 2025: Which two franchises do not have RTM cards left? Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have retained 6 players ahead of the IPL mega auction. Therefore, both the franchises do not have a single RTM card left. How many RTM cards are left for RCB, LSG, CSK, MI, GT, SRH, and DC? Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)- Three RTMs (all capped/two capped and one uncapped) left Chennai Super Kings (CSK)- One RTM (capped/uncapped) left Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)– One RTM card (capped) left Mumbai Indians (MI)- One RTM card (uncapped) left Gujarat Titans (GT)- One RTM card (capped) left Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)– One RTM card left Delhi Capitals (DC)- Two RTM cards (all capped/one capped and one uncapped) left New change in use of RTM card When a team uses the RTM card, the original bidder gets one last chance to increase its bid. If the original bidder increases its bid, the team using the RTM card must match it to keep the player. If the team using the RTM card decides not to match the bid, the original bidder gets the player and the team that used the RTM card first keeps him for later.
