Ranji Trophy 2023-24 Final: In the final matches of the ongoing Ranji Trophy season, once again experienced Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has proved to be a failure. Shreyas was out after scoring 7 runs in 15 balls. It is noteworthy that from today, March 10, the final match of Ranji Trophy is being played between Mumbai and Vidarbha at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

Vidarbha won the toss and invited Mumbai to bat first. On the other hand, batting first, Mumbai’s condition does not look anything special against Vidarbha. Mumbai’s strong batting is showing collapse against Vidarbha.

However, for Mumbai, openers Prithvi Shaw and Bhupen Lalwani got off to a great start, adding 81 runs for the first wicket, but after Bhupen was out for 37 runs, the Mumbai batsmen were out one after the other.

Mumbai lost the wickets of 6 of its top order batsmen till the total score of 111 runs. Musheer Khan is out after scoring 6 runs, captain Ajinkya Rahane 7, Shreyas Iyer 7 and wicketkeeper Hardik Tomar are out after scoring 5 runs.

On the other hand, if we tell you the status of the match, till the time of tea on the first day, Mumbai has scored 202 runs at the loss of 8 wickets after 57 overs. Currently Shardul Thakur is present at the crease with 58* and Tushar Deshpande with 10*. So far, Harsh Dubey and Yash Thakur have got 2-2 wickets for Vidarbha. Apart from this, Umesh Yadav and Aditya Thackeray got 1-1 wicket.

Shreyas has proved to be a failure in the entire Ranji Trophy season.

On the other hand, if you want to know about Shreyas Iyer’s performance in the ongoing Ranji season, before the Test series against England, he had played an inning of 48 runs against Andhra Pradesh. So, after being dropped from the series against England, he was out after scoring only 3 runs in the semi-final match against Tamil Nadu and only 7 runs in the final match.
