Former Indian cricketer and Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh, who often makes headlines due to his statements, has once again given a bold statement. Yograj has said that the Indian cricket team should go to Pakistan and take part in the Champions Trophy.

It is noteworthy that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it clear that the Indian cricket team will not go to Pakistan to participate in the Champions Trophy. Although, PCB has sought written reason from BCCI for this, but BCCI has not given any such reason yet.

BCCI has made it clear to ICC that Team India will not go to Pakistan to participate in this tournament. Hybrid model has been proposed by BCCI. According to this proposal, India can play its Champions Trophy matches in any country other than Pakistan like Sri Lanka or UAE. But PCB has rejected this proposal of BCCI. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
