Muttiah Muralitharan brought 1400 crore rupees to India, it’s all about cold drinks

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan is investing heavily in Karnataka. Muralitharan has signed an MoU with the Karnataka government for the production of cold drinks through which a factory will be set up in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. Apart from this, Muralitharan is interested in investing in Dharwad district and the total investment is Rs 1400 crore.

MB Patil informed about this agreement by posting on X. At present, work is going on to set up a factory in Chamarajanagar district. MB Patil recently held a meeting with Muralidharan and his company officials. In a post made after this meeting, MB Patil said that Muttiah Muralidharan wants to expand his business in Karnataka.

Muttiah Muralitharan took a dip in the cold drink field

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Muralitharan has entered the field of cold drinks after retirement. He is trying to expand his business in his country and for this he has chosen his state.

Apart from Chamarajanagar, Muralidharan is also keen to increase investment in Dharwad district. At present, work is underway to set up a factory worth Rs 1000 crore in Chamarajanagar. MB Patil also said that since there will be investment in Dharwad as well, a total investment of Rs 1400 crore is being made in the state.

According to media reports, 46 acres of land has already been allotted for the production of cold drinks and work is underway to set up a factory on that land. The factory is expected to be operational by January 2025. The company will be called “Muthaya Beverages and Confectionery”.
