Kane Williamson gave a big update regarding his injury.
Let us tell you that Kane Williamson quoted ESPN Cricinfo as saying – At the moment my hamstring is very good and it has improved a lot in the last few weeks. Feeling good to be back and start training. The weather is fantastic, very hot. So, I’m sure it will be great to be reunited with the team. Also, I think all the players are very excited to be back together in the Test team.
On the other hand, let us tell you that this is not the first time that New Zealand has faced problems due to Kane Williamson’s injury. He missed a lot of competitive cricket last year due to injury, which included being ruled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 after breaking his thumb.
Apart from Williamson, the New Zealand team is also struggling with the injuries of fast bowler Kyle Jamieson and wicketkeeper batsman Tom Blundell. However, since last month, Jamieson has started playing competitive cricket again. But Blundell has not yet returned.
